The Villages Technology Solutions Group selected to support The Villages Health Systems initiative.

August 20, 2012 - (The Villages, FL) -The Villages Technology Solutions Group has been selected as one of the “technology” partners to support The Villages Health Systems initiative.

As this “health initiative grows”, TSG’s role will be to provide all back-office and infrastructure support. This will initially include all networking, server hosting, desktop, and VOIP telephony installation as well as ongoing administration. As future clinics/offices open it will also include the integration and secured accessibility to patient information by multiple practitioners as well as patients, while meeting or exceeding the requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, also know as “HIPAA”.

Dr. Elliot Sussman says: “The pace at which The Villages moves means that there is a lot to get done before we can open the doors to our first facility. Knowing that our technology needs are being taken care of by the Technology Solutions Group allows us to focus on those items that are most important to us – patient care.”

TSG owner Dale Borrowman states: “We have performed work in various aspects of the medical industry before, but this relationship will be more of a ‘total responsibility’ for the technology infrastructure required to provide the highest quality of health information systems.
